Are Special Interests Guiding Our Local Decisions?

In the heart of our tight-knit community, many Smithtown residents feel like our local government is making decisions that benefit a select few instead of the community as a whole.

  • Lack of Transparency

The lack of transparency in our local government raises doubts about who is truly benefitting from their choices.

  • Lack of Integrity in Town Governance

Many residents feel disconnected from the decision-making process, and town board meetings have limited accessibility.

  • Financial Mismanagement and Unreasonable Raises

The town has faced financial mismanagement, exemplified by excessive raises for town board members.

    Smithtown Deserves Better

    Hi, I'm Sarah

I'm running for Town Councilwoman because I believe in the power of politics at its best. It's not just about me; it's about you, the residents of Smithtown.

I'm driven to bring about positive change and better government for our community, to build trust, transparency, and unity.

I know what matters to families, and as a mom and a Smithtown resident, I am dedicated to making sure your voices are heard and your tax money is responsibly managed.

Together, we can create a bright future for Smithtown where everyone thrives.

A Path Forward: Sarah's Plan for a Thriving Smithtown

    Empowering Community Engagement and Transparency

    Meet Sarah

I am a proud member of a Blue Line Family with high-level corporate experience residing in St. James with my husband and two children.

This Town Board has been in place for over five years, having inherited from Supervisor Vecchio a $17 million surplus, virtually zero debt, and a government that worked. Since that time? Having gone through tens of millions of dollars of new debt and stimulus funds, Town Hall is "truly concerned" about next year's budget, and is paving fewer roads than before. All the while, this Town Board has been on a hiring spree of friends and family, lavished themselves with eye-popping raises, and raised your taxes.

I'm running for office because it's time we restored fiscal conservatism and sanity to Smithtown. No more rolling out the red carpet for developers who ruin our traffic and pollute our water, and no more stoking the flames of the so-called culture wars to distract from doing the people's work.

Smithtown needs new leadership, and it's time to shake up this Town Board.
